Pure aromas of red cherries, berries, leather, and Asian spice notes are supported by bright flavors of cherry cola, pomegranate, and an earthy mid-palate. Velvety, fine-grained tannins complement a long finish with subtle lavender and wild strawberry nuances.

"
Rich aromas of dark cherry, black raspberry, cinnamon, red Darjeeling tea, red licorice, and dried florals. The youthful flavors include black strawberry, black plum, allspice, brûlée, pink grapefruit peel, and white pepper, finishing dry and savory. Cellar until 2035 or decant and enjoy."

Vineyard & Vintage Character

2023 was another fantastic season in the cool climate of Marin County, with beautiful ripening and flavor development producing a rich, yet elegant wine. This wine is sourced from a small, dry-farmed vineyard on rolling hills in an area of Marin that has been home to cattle and dairies for the last century. Today, there are small vineyard sites scattered across Marin that are producing very interesting and distinct fruit.
